Angelica Maria Vale Hartman (also called professionally Angelica Vale) is a Mexican American artist, performer-singer as well as a comedian and radio host. Her birthplace was in Mexico City, where she was raised by the comedian Raul Vale. Angelica Maria Vale Hartman is famous for being the founder in the La Balada Ranchera musical genre which climbed to the top of charts in 1973. Angelica Maria became the first Latino musician to hit 2 million copies of sales in America. When she was in 1974, the singer met Venezuelan comic and performer Raul Vale who she wed in April 1975.
