Andrea Bowen is an American actress. She began her career appearing on Broadway musicals such as Les Miserables and The Sound of Music. Julie Mayer was her role on ABC's comedy-drama Desperate Housewives. She portrayed her character on a consistent basis until the year 2008. Julie Alexandra Mayer is the eldest kid of Susan Delfino and Karl Mayer. Julie, who was Susan Delfino's eldest child at the time of the birth of her daughter, seemed to be the perfect person to be a part of their family.
